It's no great secret that this is my first "official" baby session--at least with a baby who didn't belong to me. I was a little nervous, but mostly excited to get my lens on this little guy after studying as much as I could about newborn photography.Little Noah was such a trooper! He had his moments (see below)--of course he didn't like lying around naked in the middle of winter (who does, really?!). A quick soothing session with mom did the trick every time!
In the end, I think I took nearly 400 shots. I took about 10 for every one thing I wanted to capture just to make sure I got the perfect shot. In the end, I really think we ended up with some great portraits to choose from. I'm so happy with how they turned out considering how much I felt I was learning on the job. And boy, did I learn some things! Practice makes perfect, so the next shoot will be even better! {Any volunteers? Still running a newborn portrait session deal!}
Thank you much to mom Sarah for allowing me to capture a moment in time with her little man. It was a great experience for me for sure!
